Clear answers

Questions business owners often ask.

What's the difference between a review and an audit?
An audit provides the highest level of assurance and involves detailed testing of your financial records. A review provides moderate assurance through analysis and inquiry, without the same depth of testing. Most lenders specify which one they require — we can help you confirm what you need.
When should I incorporate my business?
It depends on your income level, liability exposure, and growth plans. Incorporation can offer tax deferral and liability protection, but isn't always the right move for every business at every stage. We can walk through your specific situation before you decide.
What records do I need to keep for the CRA?
Generally, you should retain supporting documents — invoices, receipts, bank statements, and contracts — for at least six years from the end of the tax year they relate to. We can set up a simple system so this isn't a scramble at tax time.
Do you work with businesses outside Ontario?
We are based in Woodbridge and focus on serving businesses across the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario. Contact us to confirm whether we can support your location and specific engagement.
